Ofelia Cantu, 78, went to be with the Lord with her family by her side December 8, 2012. She was born October 22, 1934 in Hidalgo, Texas to Rafael and Librada Cantu. Ofelia was a devoted Catholic. She spent her life caring for others. She took care of her parents, brothers, sisters and nephews. Ofelia is survived by and will be greatly missed by her 2 nephews she raised as her own Johnnie Cantu & Javier Cantu, brother Guadalupe Cantu, sister Adela Cantu, grandchildren Charles Cantu, Suzanne Cantu, Tracy Cantu Sauceda, Daniel Cantu, great-grandchildren Stephen Sauceda, John, Nick, Nathan, Samantha, Savannah, Lewis, , Noe Sauceda, Ezra Sauceda, Sena Sauceda. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 11, 5- 7:00 PM with Rosary at 7:00 PM at Waxahachie Funeral Home. There will be a Graveside Service 3:00 PM Wednesday December 12, 2012 at Lakeview Cemetery in Waxahachie TX. Arrangements are under direction of Waxahachie Funeral Home
