Owen Brian Haney, 80, was born in Omaha, Nebraska to Lawrence and Donnabelle McManus Haney on April 27, 1938. Owen was a teacher in Ennis Independent School District for many years and dearly loved his students.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Haney of Waxahachie, TX, children Kenyon Paul Haney and wife Beth of Amarillo TX, Kevin Bruce Haney and wife Tammy of Denton, TX, Kerry Brian Haney and wife Carmel of Amarillo, TX, Keith Owen Haney and wife Edith of Amarillo, TX, Kris Alan Haney and wife Melissa of Amarillo, TX, Andrew Kyle Haney of Amarillo, TX, and Laura Hoggard and husband Steve of Lubbock, TX, Cathy and husband Phil Meads of Oklahoma City ,Ok, Jim Scott and wife Brooks of California, Bryan Scott of Waxahachie, TX, and many grandchildren and great grand children.

Visitation will be 6:00- 8:00 PM Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Waxahachie Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday July 11, 2018 at Bristol Baptist Church, 306 Union Hill Rd. Ennis, TX, with interment following at Bristol Cemetery in Bristol, TX. Arrangements are under the Direction Waxahachie Funeral Home.
