Patsy Marie Blevins, age 69, passed away on December 31, 2017 after a lengthy illness with her family at her side.  She was born in Dallas, Texas to Edward Olin and Juleanne Prater.

She married David Blevins on January 28, 1983 and celebrated almost 35 years of marriage this month.  She retired from Texas Instruments after 12 years as an Electric Assembler.  She enjoyed reading, cooking, and playing computer games.

She is survived by her husband, David Lynn Blevins; a son, Christopher Edward Thayer; brother, Edward (Brenda) Prater; sister, Jeanetta Brill; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Juleanne Prater, and her sister, Martha Prater.

She will be truly missed and was loved by everyone whom she met.

A visitation service will be on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at noon at the Waxahachie Funeral Home Chapel with a Funeral Service following at 2 p.m.  Interment will be at Venus Memorial Park, East 5th Street, Venus, TX.
