Patsy Ruth Waller, age 85, was born November 4, 1934 in Hunt County, Texas and departed for her heavenly home on December 31, 2019 with her family by her side.  She was the daughter of Luther and Thelma Samples.

She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She and her husband served in the ministry together and they were pastors at First Assembly of God in Maypearl for 28 years. She also enjoyed reading, sewing, and listening to gospel music.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 53 years James S. Waller, and her brother Carl Samples.

She is survived by her daughter Debra D. (Edward) Smith and sons James L. (Cathy) Waller, David D. (Cindy) Waller, and Phillip W. Waller; grandchildren Paul W (Amy) Smith, Rachel Smith and Ty Rich, Stephanie Waller, Jonathan (Liz) Waller, Katie Waller and Jason Myers, Timothy Waller and Sharolyn Waller; great-grandchild Elijah Waller; brother L.A. (Tonya) Samples and sister Billy Sue Pogue.

Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, January 5th from 4-6 p.m. at Waxahachie Funeral Home.  A funeral service is scheduled for Monday, January 6th at 2 p.m. at Waxahachie Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at the Maypearl Cemetery, Maypearl, Texas.
