Philip Wayne Spicer, 55, of Waxahachie, Texas,  passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2021.

He was born to Philip Wayne Spicer, Sr. and Mary Kathryn Day on December 23, 1965 in Dallas, Texas.

Philip graduated from North Dallas High School in Dallas, Texas in 1984. After graduation from high school, he went on to college where he earned his Associates Degree.

In 1992, Philip opened his own business in Waxahachie, Texas, Philips Fences.

In his spare time, Philip enjoyed painting. He especially had a great love for animals. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed his help. His kind and generous spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his son; Nick Spicer, his father; Philip Spicer, Sr., his mother; Kathy Hykin, three brothers; David Spicer, Nathan Spicer, Aron Spicer,  sister-in-law; Sam Spicer, and his step-mother; Jolene Spicer, his girlfriend; Leslie Cook, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 7, 2021, at 2:00 o'clock in the afternoon at Waxahachie Funeral Home, 1201 West Highway 287 By-Pass, Waxahachie, Texas 75165.
