Ralph Fuqua, 86, went to be with the Lord April 1, 2014. He was born February 11, 1928 in Caney, Kansas. He married the love of his life, Betty, June 14, 1947. After 15 years farming in Kansas and 14 years of construction in Texas, they spent 30 years serving together in Mexico as missionaries. For 6 years he lovingly provided constant care for his wife of 64 years until she preceded him to glory 2 ½ years ago. Since then he has continued to serve his church and family faithfully as he tirelessly interceded daily for all his loved ones. Blessed by his rich spiritual heritage are his surviving loved ones. His 3 children, Jeannie and Tom Allen, Robert and Ann Fuqua, Dwight and Alice Fuqua, brother Donald, 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6-8:00PM Friday, April 4, 2014 at Waxahachie Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Calvary Baptist Church, 1591W 9th St. Midlothian, with interment following at Sardis Cemetery.
