Ramona D. Farmer, age 91, peacefully met Jesus on November 16, 2019 in Ennis, Texas.   She was born on September 21, 1928 in Roaring Springs, Texas to Bruce and Lillie Goodwin Freeman Lucas.

Ramona married Dr. Blake L. Farmer in 1947.  She was a retired teacher from Kerens IDS, Ennis ISD and Tivoli ISD for many years.  She loved reading, playing the piano, and gardening.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Blake L. Farmer.

She is survived by brother James (Glenda) Freeman of Huntsville, AL; son Blake L. (Helen) Farmer II of Plain Dealing, LA; daughter Faith Farmer of Ennis, TX; grandson Blake (Dana) Farmer of Tupelo, MS; grand-daughter Tara (Bryan) Tienharra, great grand-daughters Avery Tienharra, Claire Tienharra of Mossy Rock, WA; and brother-in-law Eldon (Prudy) Farmer of Midlothian, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
