Reverend David Travis Freeman

November 5, 1951 - December 20, 2016

Rev. David Travis Freeman, 65, went to be with the Lord at home surrounded by his family, on December 20. 2016.

He was born in Waxahachie, TX, November 5, 1951 to Henry Travis and Dolores Irene Cantrell Freeman.  David has been a pastor for most of his adult life. He has pastored the following churches: First Assembly of God, Luling, TX 1975-1980, First Assembly of God, Killeen, TX 1980-1983. He also became the North Texas District Youth Director from 1983-1988, then Pastored First Assembly of God, DFW from 1988-2016.

He is preceded in death by his parents and he is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Elizabeth Womack Freeman, two children, Josh David Freeman and wife Rebecca Karen Freeman, Angela Elizabeth McCrary and husband, Joseph Randall McCrary, grandchildren, Joshua Samuel Freeman, Rachel Nicole Freeman, Caleb Joseph McCrary, and Caden Travis McCrary.

Visitation will be December 23, 2016, 6-8 PM at First Assembly of God DFW in Bedford, TX. Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM December 24, 2016 at First Assembly of God DFW in Bedford with entombment following at Bluebonnet Hill Memorial Park, 5725 Colleyville Blvd Colleyville, TX 76034.
