Richard James Plummer, 66, of Waxahachie, passed away September 1, 2021.

He was born January 21, 1955 to James & Claire (Hasselmeier) Plummer, in Galveston, Texas.

Richard was a dedicated, hardworking father and husband. He put others before himself and loved God with all his heart. A dreamer at heart, Richard was an entrepreneur and always had an idea or a project to work on.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents: James Tucker Plummer, Claire Plummer, and one son; Nicholas James Plummer.

He is survived by his loving wife of forty-four years; Pamela Plummer, daughters: Alysa & John Hunter,  Shana & Aaron DeLosSantos, son; Richard & Brooke Plummer, grandchildren: Lily, John Wesley, Madison, Grace, Ezekiel, Joy, Malachi, Nehemiah, Liberty, Abigail, Benaiah, Elliot, Vida, Fiona, and one brother; Steve & Debbie Plummer.

Richard will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.

A Memorial service will be planned at a later date.
