Richard is survived by a son, Kristopher Villarreal;  daughters Shana Hernandez and husband Lucas Hernandez, Brittany Villarreal, Tiffany Villarreal;  parents Santos and Sara Villarreal; brothers Santos Jr. Villarreal, Roderick Villarreal, Steven Villarreal;  grandchildren Lucas E. Hernandez, Adrian Rico Hernandez, Kalub Richard Hernandez, Alianna Villarreal, Kiara Villarreal, and Zoe Calame.

Richard was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend.  As much as he loved his children, his grandchildren were the love of his life.   He loved watching all of them participating in their sports, and never missed a game.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  Richard had an infectious laugh and he never met a stranger.

A Visitation will be held Sunday, November 26, 2017, from  5-7:00 PM at Connect Point Church, 515 E. Marvin, Waxahachie, TX.  Funeral Service will be Monday, November 27, 2017, 1:00 PM Connect Point Church, with Interment following at Waxahachie City Cemetery.
