Richard Glen Williamson
August 28, 1962 - January 7, 2017
Richard "Rick" Glen Williamson, 54, passed away January 7, 2017. He was born August 28, 1962 in Sulphur, Oklahoma, to Jim and Joy Williamson.  Rick served his country in the United States Navy for 20 years. He was a Seabee Equipment Operator and retired at the rank of Petty Officer First Class. He served as a City of Lubbock Police Officer and on the Mounted Patrol. More recently, he served as a BNSF Railroad Officer.
Rick is survived by his parents Jim & Joy Williamson of Canyon Lake, TX; his loving wife Melissa of Ferris, TX; daughters Ciara Williamson and Erica Chapa, of Kyle, TX; sons Patrick Vargas, of Austin, TX, Anthony Lewis of Pittsburgh, PA, Daniel Lewis, of Caruthers, CA, Alexander Lewis, of Ft. Worth, TX; sisters Tiffiny Williamson of Houston, TX and Crystal Williamson of Canyon Lake, TX; and eight grandchildren. Rick is preceded in death by his mounted patrol partner and beloved horse Tater.
A Memorial Service will be held 9:00 AM, January 12, 2017 at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, in San Antonio Texas.
