IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert James
Bachinskas
December 15, 1947 – September 3, 2019
Robert John Bachinskas, 71, passed away on September 3, 2019 with his wife at his side. He was born December 15, 1947 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, to John Anthony and Ruth Margaret Bachinskas.
Robert graduated from Kimball High School in Dallas, Tx. It was there that he met his first true love Frederica. They married at a very young age and were blessed with a son, John Eric Bachinskas, on Christmas Day in 1968. Both were college students, worked at jobs and were busy raising their son; however, the marriage did not last. Robert and Frederica remained friends for years and Eric was always an important part of Roberts life. Robert was very devoted to his parents and loved them very much. He was always visiting them and doing odd jobs around their house such as painting, mowing the lawn, roofing the house with his father, barbecuing or playing golf with his father. He worked several years with his father at LTV in the aviation business in Grand Prairie, TX until the US Postal Service snatched him up in April 1978. He worked there for 30 years as a distribution clerk. It was there that his life was to take a big turn that was totally unexpected. He met a young woman, another clerk, in November 1978, Angela Stewart. They hit it off, fell in love and married on May 2, 1980. Angela had 2 young children, John William, 9 years old and Teresa Michelle, 6 years old who Robert accepted as his own and so a new family was born. The children loved Robert as he was a kind and caring father that they longed for in their lives. He loved traveling and took the family on trips to Padre Island, Corpus Christie, The Alamo, Yellowstone and Mt Reiner in WA state. Of course, Eric was always included in these outings. He was a big fan of America's Team, the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers. He has been a resident of Ellis County for 35 years.
Robert was not particularly spiritual or religious man, but later in life became to learn some of the truth about what the Bible teaches about what the future holds for our dead loved ones. This gave him a measure of peace in his last days of life especially during the last hours as he was taking his last breath surrounded by family and friends.
Rest in Peace Robert John Bachinskas because we will see you in the resurrection when Christ Jesus calls all those out of the memorial tombs on the last day. We will all be together again in paradise on earth and be living together in true happiness and peace with our family and friends for eternity. Amen
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Angela Bachinskas, son John Eric Bachinskas, step daughter Teresa M Delgado and 4 grand children Alexander Bachinskas, Blake Bachinskas, Brittany Stewart and Alexis Eversmann.
