Roberto Rodriguez Trevino went to be with our Lord on November 3, 2022, at the age of 76.

He was born to Jose and Maria Trevino on June 7, 1946. He proudly served his country in the United States Marines as a Sergeant in Vietnam. He was awarded multiple medals, including the Purple Heart, the Bronze Star, the Silver Star, and many others.

After an honorable discharge, he returned home and worked alongside his father in the plumbing industry. He loved spending time outdoors, and that love eventually led him to purchase a ranch, where he enjoyed raising cattle and horses.

Robert was an avid political activist within the Democratic Party. He was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), and Veterans In Petition For Justice (Vip4Justice).

Robert loved his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed getting together with family and friends for backyard cookouts and listening to Mexican music.

He Is preceded in death by his parents: Jose and Maria Trevino; brother Juan A. Trevino. He is survived by his brothers: Joe Trevino and wife Ellia, Julio Trevino and wife Blanca, Carlos Trevino, Rick Trevino, and wife Christi; sisters: Vickie Moreno and husband Jesse, Gloria Trevino, Olga Dixon and husband Larry, Dolores Helms and husband Wendell, and many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed.

Funeral service will be held Thursday November 10, 2022, at 2:00 o'clock in the afternoon at Waxahachie Funeral Home, 1201 West Highway 287 Bypass, Waxahachie, Texas 75165. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park Cemetery.
