IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Roderick Lucio
Villarreal
December 21, 1963 – January 1, 2025
Roderick Lucio Villarreal
"Neno"
Dec. 21, 1963 – Jan. 1, 2025
Roderick Lucio Villarreal, 61, passed away on January the 1st, 2025 in Dallas, Texas. He was born to Sara Salas and SantosVillarreal Sr. on December the 21st, 1963 in Italy, Texas.
Neno loved his 3 grandsons and 2 granddaughters more than anything. He could out-dance everyone except George. If there was a fight on, you could bet he would be around a fire pit with family, friends and a beer watching and cheering. He loved talking about all the fish he caught or didn't catch. One of his favorite things to do was firing up the pit and watching football with his sons and grandsons. You can find numerous pictures of himself in his phone along with selfies of him and Armani, in every shot he had a huge smile. He was always trying to make everyone laugh. He was the life of the party. Everywhere he went he made two new friends. He also loved going to the casino, playing slots, with his wife and parents. He loved talking with his mom and dad almost everyday. Most of his time was spent with family and friends. Neno married his best friend on September 7th, 1983. He lived his life out with Diana and their sons in Waxahachie, Texas. He loved to give her a hard time and then laugh when she yelled "Neno!"
Roderick is preceded in death by his brother, Richard Albert Villarreal, his niece, Alisa Villarreal and best friend George Rodriguez.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Diana Villarreal, his parents, Santos Villarreal and Sara Salas, sons Roderick Escobar
and wife Melissa, John Villarreal, Mark Anthony Villarreal and wife Cindy, grandchildren, Roderick Escobar Jr., Dominick Escobar, Samuel Escobar, Armani Villarreal, Emersyn Takacs-Villarreal, and brothers Santos Villarreal and Steve Villarreal.
There will be a visitation on January the 6th from 6-8pm at the Waxahachie Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on January 7th at 10am, also at the Waxahachie Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at the Waxahachie City Cemetery.
