IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rose
Gary
June 11, 1948 – October 19, 2022
In the early hours of Wednesday, October 19, 2022, Rose Marie Gary, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away at the age of 74.
"Rosie" was born on June 11, 1948, to Wayne and Vera Calvin. Rosie was the oldest and only daughter. Rosie met Glenn Gary in 1968, 54 years ago and they married on May 29 th of that year. In July of 1978, Rosie and Glenn welcomed their daughter, and only child, Connie to their family.
Rosie was not just a homemaker, she WAS home. A seamstress, quilt maker, caregiver, teacher, nurse, therapist, etc. for not only her close family but for anyone who needed it. Rosie dedicated a great portion of her life to being a caregiver to many children and a few adults. She encouraged creativity, confidence, and freedom in the children she cared for. She was the epitome of a matriarch.
Rosie was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Vera, and her brother Mike. She is survived by her husband Glenn, her daughter Connie and husband Scott, her four grandchildren, Claudia and husband Brandon, Nino, Issac and wife Savanna and Isabel. Rosie also leaves behind a great-grandson Tristan as well as her brothers Fred, Louie and Eddie.
At Rosie's request, she will be cremated and there will be no formal services held. If your heart moves you to do so, please feel free to donate in her name to any charitable organizations such as St. Jude or animal rescue groups.
