Roy Carpenter, went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 7, 2022.  He was born November 9, 1934 to William and Gracie Carpenter in Farmersville, Texas.

Rev. Carpenter was an ordained minister for over 50 years with the Assemblies of God, and pastored numerous churches within the North Texas District.

Roy is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Molly Sue Carpenter,  daughter Kathi Sue Carpenter and husband Tim, sons: Jaroy Ring Carpenter and wife Kim, David Glenn Carpenter, grandchildren: Matthew Justin Lombard and wife Carmen, Meagan Rachelle (Lombard) Kreger  and husband Ryan, Carli Nicole Carpenter,  Jaroy Cade Carpenter, Corbin Fitzgerald Carpenter, great-grandchildren: Lana May Lombard, Luke John Lombard, Braxton Lee Kreger, siblings: Della Jo Courtney, Bobby Carpenter, and J.C. Carpenter.
