Ruby Wafer 73, passed away peacefully February 6, 2021.  She was born October 5, 1947 in Waxahachie, Texas to Joseph and Ruby Barnett.

Ruby enjoyed playing  card games, Loved anything Elvis, and any movies Patrick Swayze was in, loved fishing, and when she ate the meal was not complete until she had her salad.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and a sister Glenda Jo Surles.

Ruby is survived by a loving family, siblings Minnie Howard, Bridgette Adamek, Freddie Lord & Spouse, children Joe Goodwin and spouse, Jimmy Goodwin, & Jennifer Goodwin, grandchildren, Ben Goodwin, Kyle Goodwin, Ryan Goodwin, Jared Goodwin, Jagger Goodwin, Brian Youngblood, Tailor Spann  & Jerry Spann,  great-grandchildren Waylon Goodwin, Willie Goodwin, Mitch Goodwin, Asher Goodwin, & Eva Goodwin..

The family is planning a private celebration at a later date.
