Ruth Mardell Coker, 80, was born in Mercedes, TX to James William and Mary Moore on August 29, 1930. She married Mirian Gene Coker on April 18 1952 in Ft. Worth, TX. Mardell was employed by the Maypearl Independent School District for 15 years Survivors include daughter Marilyn Brown and husband Donnie of Waxahachie, TX, son Bill Coker and wife Charlotte of Arlington, TX, grandchildren, Kyle Coker, Hilary Rinella, and Chris Brown, sisters Lola Pinson, and Mary Catalina, several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday December 7, 2010 at Waxahachie Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday December 8, 2010 at Waxahachie Funeral Home with interment at Maypearl Cemetery with Rev Tony Shefield officiating. Arrangements are under direction of Waxahachie Funeral Home.
