Selestian Blue Burda, lovingly called Blue, was lifted in the arms of God on Saturday, September 9, 2017.  She was 18 years old.  Her son Jayden is being loved by his father's family.  Her parents are Nikol and Chris Sutherland and Grandparents Marc and Terri Nagley.   P.J. Burda is her birth father and Tina Riley her paternal grandmother.

Her family, friends and loved ones will miss her beautiful smile, open spirit, thrill of adventure and loving heart, especially to her son Jayden, sister Sage and brother Gray.  Everyone loved her but not everyone understood her – perhaps she didn't understand herself.

Services will be held Friday, September 15, 2017, from 6-7 p.m. at The Avenue Church, 1761 N. Hwy. 77, Waxahachie. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Avenue Church, Attn: Wendi Jenkins, 210 YMCA Dr., Waxahachie, TX 75165.  Please reference Embrace Grace/Blue Memorial.
