Severino Torres, Jr. of Red Oak, TX passed away on Monday, December 2, 2019, with his family at his side.  He was born July 1, 1939 in Corpus Christi, TX to Severino O. and Petra Eureste Torres.

He is a retired truck driver, enjoyed plants and collecting Harley Davidson memorabilia.  He was also a great joker, but his true heart was with his family, dogs, and grand-dogs.

Survivors include his son Anthony Peter Torres and wife Vickie; daughters Veronica Gonzalez, Monica Torres Shackelford and husband Jack, Jessica Ann Garcia and husband Joe, and Felicitas Erica Torres; brothers Henry Torres and Beto Torres; sisters Minnie Perez and Connie Vega; grandchildren Rudy Gonzalez, Yisel Perez and husband Tino Cortex, Jacob Perez and wife Jennifer Casas, Sara Serrato and husband Eric Serrato, Rita Torres, Leah Torres, Becca Lynn Torres, Anthony M. Torres, Ursula Garcia, Carlos A. Torres, Steven Garcia and wife Danelly, Joseph Garcia; great-grandchildren Alexander Perez, Andres Cortes, Layla Rain Perez, Freddy Martinez, Faith H. Jiminez, Gabby Serrato, Barbie Jiminez, Noah Garcia, Brielle Garcia, Mya Garcia, Swayde Garcia, Alyssa Cortes, Charlie Lilley, and Autumn Acevedo; dogs Chico, Thor, Ziva, and Flaco.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Jose Orlando Torres, a great- granddaughter Barbie Jiminez four sisters, and a brother.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
