Steven Douglas Hill, 73, of Waxahachie,  passed away peacefully at his home Wednesday, May 27, 2020.

He was born Jun 22, 1946 to Alfred Nelson and Phyliss Nora (Burton) Hill in Detroit Michigan.

Mr. Hill graduated from  Greeneville High School  in 1964 in Greeneville Tennessee.  Upon graduation from high school he entered the United States Army in 1964 in Greeneville Tennessee,  where he served his country until 1970.   After an honorable discharge from the United States Army he enrolled at East Tennessee State College where he graduated in 1973. He was a "Technical Trainer" for The Chrysler Corporation for twenty-three years, working in Richmond Virginia and Auburn Hills Michigan.  He was known by his friends as a "Master Naturalist."

He is preceded in death by his parents; Mr. & Mrs. Alfred Nelson Hill. He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-two years, Ann, one daughter; Susanne Hill Ross, and one granddaughter; Aubry Ann Ross of Waxahachie Texas.
