Sybil "Honey" Farmer , 91, passed away at Red Oak Health & Rehab Center on April 29, 2010. She was born to Aaron and Mineola Owens Smith on March 13, 1919, in Blooming Grove, Tx. Sybil married J.D. Farmer in 1933 in Emhouse, Tx. Honey was a seamstress and worked for Haggers, and First Bloom, as well as the public. She was a member of Farley Street Baptist Church. Sybil is preceded in death by her parents, husband J.D. Farmer and sons Gary Michael Farmer, Darryl Keith Farmer, and grandson Colonel Keith Lorry Cieri. She is survived by a daughter Sharolyn Farmer Dawn, sons J.D. Farmer, Jr. and David Farmer. Grandchildren Deline Cieri, Rick & Ann Cieri, and Barbara Cieri, great grandchildren Shawna Del Leatherwood, Shawn & Christy Cieri, Scott & Ashley Cieri, Eric Cieri, Lorry Gail Cieri, Jon Aaron Cieri, great, great grandchildren Logan Leatherwood, Madeline Leatherwood, and Evan Cieri. Visitation will be Sunday, May 2, 2010 at 10:00 AM. Services will follow at 11:00 AM at Waxahachie Funeral Home, 1201 W. 287 Bypass, Waxahachie, Tx.
