He left behind his wife, Maria Del Refugio Castellanos Garcia, three daughters, Marta Garcia Berryhill, Patricia Jen'e Castellanos Garcia Nemec, Angelita Nicole Garcia and one son, Ernesto Thomas Garcia, four grandchildren, Trisha Jen'e Nemec, Jason Glen Berryhill married to Priscilla Berryhill, Maria Judith Nemec Coulon married to Derrick Coulon, and Jeffrey Allen Berryhill and four great-grandchildren, Aiden Michael Grahnquist, Alaya Berryhill, Jenesis Berryhill and Janelle Berryhill. Three sisters, Lupita Torres, Ninfa Avalos and Olivia Bloomberg, as well as a multitude of nieces and nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by parents Natidividad Garcia, mother and Juan Garcia, father,  brothers, Jose Garcia, Ernesto, Garco, Carlos Garcia, Luis Garcia, Roberto Garcia, Juan Garcia and Roy Garcia.

He was a man who loved and took pride in his family. He enjoyed gardening, had a great love of animals, and cooking. Although he reached only a fourth-grade education, he led an industrious life by helping his family by doing farmwork and later in life, working as a paint & body tech. In his retirement he enjoyed cooking for his family, helping his daughters, however he could and gardening. He firmly instructed how life should be lived by. He believed that family should be loving, helpful and for each to find forgiveness in times of frustration. He was innovative and artistic in his own ways. He will be remembered for his unique view in life, passion in his beliefs and a protector to those he loved.
