Tommy Lane Britt passed away December the 24th 2023 in Waxahachie, Tx.

Tommy was a proud Red Oak Alumni and was excited to see the Hawks earn an undefeated district championship this past season. He also enjoyed cheering on the Cowboys and watching his great nephews compete in various sports. Tommy loved his family and friends and the way they brightened up his life. In his free time, he could be found in the kitchen baking up some tasty treats or traveling with loved ones. Above all, he loved his church and the Lord. Tommy was not perfect by any means, but that's what made him the perfect example of a Christian. Although he will be greatly missed, we know he's finally home watching over all of us.

Tommy is preceded in death by his grandparents Sumner and Verna Ford; his mother, Patsy Britt; and his sister, Carla Cox.

He is survived by his brothers Ford Britt and Guy Britt; his sister Susan Johnston and five nieces and nephews.

A memorial Service will be held at Ovilla Road Baptist Church on January the 6th at 11am. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Ovilla Road Baptist Church.
