Uldine Ruth Powell

March 17, 1937 - March 27, 2019

Uldine Powell,  82, went to be with the Lord March 27, 2019.  She was born in Friendly, West Virginia March 17, 1937, to Okey and Jessie Stewart.

Uldine was raised in West Virginia, she moved to Texas in the early 60's where she married and adopted two children.  Uldine loved to read books, sing in the choir and play the organ.   She was a very strong Christian, who loved her church family.

She is preceded in death by her husband George E. Powell and son Aaron S. Powell.

Uldine is survived by a son Ian S. Powell and wife Patricia, sisters Noreen Barnhart and husband Jr. of West Virginia, Colleen Reid and husband Dick of Ohio. a grandchild Tristan S. Powell.

A visitation will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, March 31, 2019, with Funeral Service following at 3:00 PM  at Waxahachie Funeral Home.
