Walter E. Braxmier, 86, went to be with the Lord February 29, 2020, surrounded by his family in his home.  A native of Corsicana, TX, he was born on February 9, 1934 to Johnnie and Myrtle Braxmier.

He was a long-time resident of Waxahachie, TX where he retired as a maintenance supervisor for the Owens Corning Fiberglass Co.  He proudly served and received an honorable discharge from the United States Air Force.

He is preceded in death by sons Scott & Perry Braxmier.  He is survived by his loving wife Clara F. Braxmier of 58  years;  daughter Rhonda Burch and husband David of Midlothian, TX;  granddaughters, Autumn Lewis, Amanda Burch, Karma Braxmier;  great-granddaughter Kylie Needham.

The Visitation will be 1:00 pm, followed by the Funeral Service  at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 7, at Waxahachie Funeral Home.  Interment following at Oakwood Cemetery in Corsicana, TX.
