Weldon James Jr. 78, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family January 2, 2022.  He was born June 20, 1943 in McKinney, Texas to Weldon & Grace James Sr.  Weldon proudly served his country in the Air National Guard for sixteen years.  One of his favorite pass times was reading and he loved telling stories to his grandkids of times past.

He is preceded in death by his father Weldon James Sr., and mother Grace Evelyn Recer James.

Weldon is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Bobbie James. sons Jeffrey James and wife Kelly, Jason James and wife Nicole, grandsons Austin James, Triston Ivy, Tanner Kidd,  Gage Christopher, granddaughters Hayley James, Kaitlyn Christopher, Madison Crain, great-grandson Weston Ivy,  sisters Jody Huff and husband Joe, Jill and wife Debbie James.

Graveside Service  will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Bell's Chapel Cemetery, Waxahachie, Texas.
