They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

Work history:
A native Arkansan, after finishing his education, Mr. Bruton began a long and distinguished career of college teaching at SAGU (26 years where he advanced to Associate Professor) and at Navarro College (24 years as Adjunct Professor). During those 50 years of college teaching he simultaneously maintained a private piano studio where he taught hundreds of students throughout the years. He also was involved in several area churches in various positions as choir director, pianist or organist.Patty and Bill dedicated many years serving Jesus playing the keyboards and singing for the Dallas Veterans Hospital chapel services. Bill was also hired to write more than 20 orchestrations for the Assemblies of God hymnal, "Hymns of Glorious Praise".
Teen Talent involvement:
For over 20 years, Bill and his wife Patty were frequent judges in the local, district, regional, and national Teen Talent competition. After several years of judging, Bill and Patty established a Teen Talent workshop at SAGU which lasted several years. During those years, Bill and Patty became involved in the lives of many young musicians in the north Texas district of the Assemblies of God and two other Texas districts and even other states.
It is not the work that we accomplish, the efforts done. The effectiveness of all our works is who we do it for. It was William Bruton honor to do all things to glorify the Lord.
