William Gregory Phipps, 62, of Bowie, Texas  passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at the VA Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He was born in Enid, Oklahoma on March 29, 1958 to William Ross Phipps and Xelpha LaRue Stafford Phipps.

William is preceded in death by his father;  Senior Master Sergeant William Ross Phipps, his mother;  Xelpha LaRue Phipps, and his wife; Kimberlyn Phipps.

He is survived by his brother; Terry L Phipps and his wife Irma of Waxahachie, Texas, one nephew; Travis L. Phipps and his wife Brandy of Wylie, Texas, one niece; Tracie L. Benningfield and her husband Tommy of  Waxahachie, Texas, three aunts; VaLois Bell, Ida Baldwin and Kay Stafford, along with great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

William proudly served our country in the United States Army.

There will be a Graveside Service, Sunday, October 18 at 2:00 O'clock in the afternoon at Vashti Cemetery, FM 1288, Bellevue, Texas 76228. Rev. Justin Harris from Lighthouse Assembly of God will officiate.
