Obituary

Willow Jacqueline Brown-Cook, passed away July 13, 2012 in Chattanooga, Tenn. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-six years, Earl Dean Cook in 2002. Willow was a faithful Christian. She is survived by three daughters, Sharon Shelton and husband Robert of Midlothian Texas, Judy Abshier and husband Timothy of Waxahachie, Texas, and Denise Sloan and husband Gregory of Englewood, Tenn. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Shari Shelton Geeson, Deanna Abshier Jones, Ryan Shelton, Hilary Abshier Goode, Nathan Sloan, Karissa Sloan Eaton, Andrew Abshier, and Eric Sloan; Her loving great grandchildren: Allison, Evan, and Logan Jones, London and Cohen Goode and a great-grandson on the way. A sad farewell for us, but a beautiful tomorrow was waiting for our beloved. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday July 20, 2012, at Waxahachie Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 21, Waxahachie Funeral Home with a graveside ceremony and interment will be in the San Jacinto Valley, in California where she resided until 2005.
