Wilma Florence Peacock Horn passed from this life to her eternal life February 4 , 2013 at Charlton Medical Center, Dallas, at the age of 96. She was born Sept 5, 1916 in Oklahoma City, Ok. to Lawrence E. and Mae E. Jones Peacock. She lived in Oklahoma City until after graduating from high school and she and her husband to be, William "Bill" Horn, married in 1937 then moved to Kilgore, Texas, where Bill worked as a Petroleum Engineer and both their children were born. They later moved to Dallas, where she lived until her death. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Verna Metcalf Jones, her daughter, Linda Mae Horn Hill, and the father of her children, William Horn. She is survived by a son, Jerry Allen Horn, Olathe, Kansas, daughter-in-law, Linda Ann Horn Clark, Youngsville, N.C., seven grandchildren, Doug Horn, Shannon Horn Groves (Bryan), Christen Horn Fuqua (Cortland), Otis Hill, Karen Hill Brister and husband Ben, David Hill and Brian Hill and eleven great grandchildren. Sisters-in-Law, Margie Horn and Leta Mae Horn Middleton of Houston as well as nieces and nephews... Her first employment was making women's blouses for a manufacturing company in Dallas and later worked in Christian ministries until she retired. Her hobbies were making ceramic pottery and sewing. She attended Oak Cliff Assembly of God and was a faithful member as long as she was able to attend. She loved her grandchildren and was cared for by her devoted granddaughter, Karen Hill Brister and husband, Ben until her death.
