Zela Mae Nash, age 91, went to be with her Lord on July 23, 2019.  She was born March 29, 1928 in Ennis, TX to Henry and Elzenia Farrell.  She was a resident of Pleasant Manor Nursing Home, in Waxahachie, TX,  where she had been loved and cared for the past ten years.  She was married to Preston "Doody" Nash in 1945, who preceded her in death on October 22, 2009.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, and three sisters.

Zela Mae is survived by numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly  and many close friends, who loved her and enjoyed her witty personality.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 25, 2019, from 6-8:00 pm at Waxahachie Funeral Home.  A graveside service and burial officiated by Bryan Wooten, will be at Loftin Cemetery, Teaselville, TX on  Friday, July 26, 2019 at 11 am.
