Kenneth Dollar

Owner & Funeral Director

Kenneth was born in 1949 and raised in Waxahachie, Texas, where he developed a deep love for the community he continues to serve today. A graduate of Waxahachie High School, he went on to attend the University of Texas at Arlington before earning his degree from the Dallas Institute of Mortuary Service. Kenneth became a licensed Funeral Director in 2004 and has faithfully served families at Waxahachie Funeral Home since 1987.

With over three decades of dedicated service, Kenneth views his work as a calling to minister to families during life’s most difficult moments. Guided by his Christian faith, he is deeply committed to honoring each individual’s wishes while providing comfort, dignity, and compassionate care to every family he serves.

Kenneth has been married to his wife, Arleta, for 53 years. Together they have four children and nineteen grandchildren who are a cherished blessing in his life. As a lifelong resident of Waxahachie, he considers it a privilege to serve the community he calls home.

Leta Dollar

Office Manager

Leta Dollar was born in Colfax, Washington. Her parents were missionaries to Bolivia and Mexico, where she grew up lived as a child. She returned to the US as a teenager and attended Waxahachie High School. This is where she met Kenneth Dollar and, later, they got married. They have been married 53 years and are blessed with four children and 19 grandchildren.

She has a heart and love for people, as shown in her 20 years of experience in the office at Waxahachie Funeral Home. She goes the extra mile to make your family comfortable and your loved one's memories very special.

Abigail Gardner

Funeral Director & Embalmer

Abigail Gardner is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer who has been serving families since earning her license in 2023. She views her work as both a profession and a ministry, feeling called to care for families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Abigail believes every life is created with purpose and deserves to be honored with dignity, compassion, and reverence.

A local to Waxahachie, Abigail is proud to serve the community she calls home. She is known for her gentle presence, steady guidance, and heartfelt commitment to helping families find comfort, hope, and peace as they honor their loved ones.

Outside of her work, Abigail enjoys life with her husband of five years and their four beloved animals. Her faith and love for family shape the compassionate care she brings to every family she serves.
